What food to eat at Geraldton?

L'Italiano   204 Marine Terrace, Geraldton WA 6530, Australia The place is packed when we arrived at 8 pm for dinner. We are told we may need to wait another hour or 2. So we decide to takeaway our dinner and that also requisite a wait of 20 minutes for our order.  I was full of expectations for this but sadly the food does not deliver.  Pizza is so-so only. Gnocchi is very creamy but it gets to you after a few mouthful. Quiet Life Specialty Coffee  287 Marine Terrace, Geraldton WA 6530, Australia This place is highly popular. It was soon packed soon after we arrived.  The allure will be no other than the coffee.  Bae's order for breakfast is Brekky - a mashed up of eggs, bacon, cheddar and house made onion jam. And he is munching this in bliss while i am tackling my greens. I tried out a little detox meal. The green life make of seasonal greens, avocado and quinoa, tumeric hummus with soft boiled egg and salsa verde. To...

What food to eat at Denham and Monkey Mia?

There isn't that much of selections for food.  These food places that we tried are generally tasty and i will recommend to try these places.  The Western Woodfired Pizza 6/89 Knight Terrace, Denham WA 6537, Australia Very crispy and yummy pizza. Hubs wanted to try it again but  he never got the chance to have it again as it was only  open on thursday to sundays. This is mainly a takeaway stall only. No seating at all. The crust is very crispy and filling is nice. Shark Bay Bakery 89 Knight Terrace, Denham WA 6537, Australia This cafe is just next door to our hotel so yes, i will deem it very conveniently located. Always good to have a good and hot breakfast. Coffee is smooth and nice. The food here is simple and straight forward. While it is appetizing, it is not impressive at all. Shark Bay Hotel 43 Knight Tce ,  Denham, Western Australia 6537,  Australia Simple dinner we had here. Food is passable and...

NOBU - fine dining experience in Perth (Heavenly and thumbs up)

NOBU Crown Metropol Perth, Great Eastern Hwy, Burswood WA 6100, Australia This is recommended as a MUST TRY in Perth from spouse friend who used to study in Perth.  The entire meal did not dissappoint. I was blown away by the presentation as well as the food taste.       The first dish i MUST order. The wagyu cooked using Hot Stone Flambe. Its a great show and taste delicious too.. Still flaming.... The beef after flambe. The chef Nobu Matsuhisa explaining to us the appetiser. But i really can't hear him clearly over the din at the restaurant. Sesame seared tuna with goma truffle sauce, crispy seaweed and micro coriander topped off with freshly shaved truffle- this is the only dish prepared and served by the head chef. Prawns with wasabi pepper. Soft shell crab sushi roll. The BEST black cod miso i've ever tasted. And the signature of Nobu, this dish literally melts in your mouth. Tasty! Dessert to finish up the nigh...

Nambung National Park - Pinnacles & Yanchep National Park - Koalas anyone? BONUS: Lobster shack

Pinnacles at Nambung National Park Nambung WA 6521, Australia Jump for my LOVE . After numerous tries, finally a successful shot. This will be the second time i am here at Pinnacles. The first is via coach and frankly i was quite bored. Still bored the second time but the scenery is so much better along the route. The pinnacles drive is a 4 km one way loop with parking bays for you to stop along the loop to view the scenery. Here i am at the desert view lookout. The higher elevation means a better view. We met a convoy of old vintage cars. Those driving it are quite old as well and i am amazed that at their age they are still driving and so happy. Driving around the loop allows a different landscape view and different limestone formations. Some areas they are taller than you. And here they are just little cute stumps. Yanchep National Park Yanchep Beach Rd &, Indian Ocean Dr, Yanchep WA 6035, Australia I was hoping to join the crystal tour but we are rush...
