Thistlebell Nail Boutique

Sorry for the hiatus because Trinity Bride was busy settling down in Tokyo. Yup, I have relocated to Tokyo to be closer to Sushi san and the past 2 months was quite a bit of an adjustment. Life in Tokyo is different once you shed the "tourist" label and try to live like a local. Back to the blogging with regards to my wedding preparation.....Here's the reviews of the places that did up my nail. First up would be the pre-wedding nails.   Instead of heading to a nail salon for a gelish manicure, I decided to try some home based salon since it could be a cheaper alternative. Having paid at least $90 for gel manicures in Japan, I should not bulk at having to pay for more than $100 for gel nails in Singapore. However, no harm in trying to source for more deals :) I chanced upon a deal from eVoucher city for Thistlebell Nails which my sister had tried before. For a gelish manicure with 2 nail art design included, the deal was only S$17.50. I thought it was a steal.   ...

The perfect wedding and more than what a bride can wish for (REALLY!)

Its been 8 days after my wedding. Everything still seemed so surreal. The wedding ran smoothly and perfectly. And i felt like a superstar with at least 5 cameras shooting me at any one time excluding the videographer. :) Nearly had a heart attack when the make up artist was late. Agreed time was 6.50 am and earlier. As my mum insisted that i must be out of the house before 9 am. The PGs and VG had all arrived and still no sight of the MUA. *Hopping mad*. Fortunately, the gate crashing is short and sweet. (Send my love to my dear bridemaids) The bestmen never knew the doors ain't locked since the beginning. Funny how gentlemanly they all were. The other minor set backs on the actual day was the bride suffering from lack of sleep. So my efforts of sleeping early for the week went down the drain. And i still ended up with puffy eyes. This cannot be helped as i seriously couldn't sleep the night before the wedding. Sigh! And of course my clasp behind my gown had to give way...

oh so beautiful nails

I recently did my nails for my photo shoot and this also as a pre-trial for my actual day. I always thought that acrylic nails means taking those off the rack nails and then cut to fit. How wrong i was. I never never expect acrylic nails to be something like that. It is build from scratch and molded to fit. My nails took about 3.5 hours. A super long grooming session. The full set of the nails. Super chio huh? The glittler mist shines I already set my appointment for my actual day. Have you? My manicurist is Thistlebelle .
