A real wedding in Cebu (Church ceremony and banquet)

weddings I recently attended a wedding in Cebu -a church wedding followed by a wedding banquet. I was curious to find that the wedding has plenty of similarities to our Singapore style Chinese wedding in particular the banquet and its sequence. However, my evaluation is probably biased as i understand the bride is of Chinese descent. weddings The Cebu wedding surpasses my expectations on several counts, an impressive travel themed decor. It was even more luxurious than our local Singapore hotel's set up. Good range of food served like crabs, fishes ( yes, you read it correct fishes, not one fish), noodles, pork knuckle and the best mantou i ever eaten. The photo booth set up is also much more professional like a corporate set up with a fixed camera station. Live music and singer also entertained us throughout the dinner. travel theme, wedding live music that adds the oomph factor Some of the differences observed are drinks (different types of soft...

Wedding solemnisation at Chijmes - Review

Having a romantic church wedding is the dream of every girl, myself included. But unless you're a christian, its almost impossible to hold your wedding solemnisation at a church.  In japan, the church wedding concept is very prevalent and it comes at a price. It once housed a Catholic convent school known as the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ) and their convent quarters known as Caldwell House. It has been restored for commercial purposes, such as shopping, dining and an entertainment centre. Here is the views of the former church decorated as a solemnisation venue. For solemnisation, the 2 aisles will serve as the d...

With the Clarke Quay location being a more accessible location. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor and there is a lift leading up to the restaurant but during weddings taking the stairs is usually the better option. Themes The theme of the ballroom has already been pre-determined. Though couples have a choice of chair sash colour.
