Life between trips

Planned itinerary from Perth to Monkey Mia. This trip is requires driving long distances with travelling time of 2 hrs to 4 hrs in between destinations.  Here's a day by day for reference. STAY:  Perth: Pensione Hotel, Perth 70 Pier Street, Perth City Centre, Perth, Australia 6000  I have blogged about this place before and because of the previous good impression. We decided to return to this place again.  The rooms is adequate size and clean as i remembered. A few things have changed though. There is no parking space allocated to guests. And if you require parking space you need to reserve in your booking and additional charges apply. The space where you parked your car while you pick up/ drop off your luggages could be fine summons if you leave your car idle there for more than 15 minutes.  Alternatives is free street parking on the roads which is 2 blocks away from the hotel. Hylin 178 Railway Parade, West Leederville WA 6007, Australia This new place we tried out in Perth. Nice ambience and quiet surroundings. Disclaimer: we went on a weekday and it wasn't packed. The caucasians are always interacting while the chinese is always busy taking pictures or playing on their phone. Myself included. But still a very  homely place to chill.  Cappuccino and latte is a must. These are spot on and smooth. A lighter meal will be eggs on toast. Very simple but yet fulfilling. Croquettes and eggs. The roasted califlower is nice so is the pan fried potato and feta cheese topped with saldain on balsamic dressing. NOBU Crown Metropol Perth, Great Eastern Hwy, Burswood WA 6100, Australia This is recommended as a MUST TRY in Perth from spouse friend who used to study in Perth.  The entire meal did not dissappoint. I was blown away by the presentation as well as the food taste.       The first dish i MUST order. The wagyu cooked using Hot Stone Flambe. Its a great show and taste delicious too.. Still flaming.... The beef after flambe. The chef Nobu Matsuhisa explaining to us the appetiser. But i really can't hear him clearly over the din at the restaurant. Sesame seared tuna with goma truffle sauce, crispy seaweed and micro coriander topped off with freshly shaved truffle- this is the only dish prepared and served by the head chef. Prawns with wasabi pepper. Soft shell crab sushi roll. The BEST black cod miso i've ever tasted. And the signature of Nobu, this dish literally melts in your mouth. Tasty! Pinnacles at Nambung National Park Nambung WA 6521, Australia Jump for my LOVE . After numerous tries, finally a successful shot. This will be the second time i am here at Pinnacles. The first is via coach and frankly i was quite bored. Still bored the second time but the scenery is so much better along the route. The pinnacles drive is a 4 km one way loop with parking bays for you to stop along the loop to view the scenery. Here i am at the desert view lookout. The higher elevation means a better view. We met a convoy of old vintage cars. Those driving it are quite old as well and i am amazed that at their age they are still driving and so happy. Driving around the loop allows a different landscape view and different limestone formations. Some areas they are taller than you. And here they are just little cute stumps.
