Kose Beauty Centre Facial Review (Isetan Scotts)

I was very very taken aback when i entered the unassuming beauty salon right in the heart of orchard. While the place is clean and design is simple, it was very sparsely furnished considering its brand name and in comparision with Yamano (the other japanese salon i went).  I entered the facial premises after i passed through the hair salon. What greeted me makes my jaw dropped even more, the room is bare. There is no wall partitions for privacy, in its place are curtains hung to separate the different beds. And i am able to see all the facial therapist and guests. Each therapist handles 2 guests both at the same time!!! From My session suppose to start at 3 pm since my therapist is also handling another customer, i whipped out my phone and start playing candy crush till my therapist is available at 3.30pm. The therapist started by cleaning my face and recommending the appropriate therapy for my skin. I was advised to do the  Whitening & Anti-ageing Treatment an...

Japan Wedding in a nutshell

Hello! It is the Trinity bride here. Time flies, I remembered saying that I would like to write about my Japan wedding earlier this year and woah, come to think of it a year had passed since we got hitched! I decided that I should really sit down and write this down before I forget all the little details and today is just a nice time to reminiscence about what happened a year ago. [Caution: EXTREMELY long post, detailing the Japanese wedding journey. Read it if you are interested in the Japanese way of getting hitched.] Everything written is just my own personal experience and opinions which may not be the exact way of things that may happen for other Japanese couples. Finding the Wedding Venue (January) Like any other wedding around the world, you have to decide on a location where you would like to celebrate your nuptials! Since we decided that most of the traditional events would be held in Singapore aka a Singapore Chinese wedding, we only just need to book a venue for our wedd...

Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh (HCM) Itinerary

My itinerary: Day 1: City walkabout - Notre Dame Cathedral, old post office and Ben Thanh Market Day 2: Day trip to Mekong - 7.15 am ~5.30 pm            Day 3: Half day trip to Cu Chi - 7.45 am ~ 2 pm             Vietnamese Water Puppet show - 7.45 pm Day 4: Chill and relax To See: Notre Dame Cathedral This cathedral occupies scenic Paris Square in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. Established by French colonists, the cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880. It has two bell towers, reaching a height of 58 meters (190 feet). Its structure does bears some resemblance to the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Do note that the church may not be open to public and it all depends on one's luck. We got in the church and soon after the gates were locked behind us. Old post office - It is a functional office not just a place to tour.  Lots of sight to ...

Hwee Studios

For my actual day photography, I chose Hwee Studios , which was also the same company that Solitaire Bride chose to work with for her actual day. The difference was that I booked a full day actual day session for photography and a half day session for videography with them. They also threw in the videography for our ROM session in the evening as part of the package. Here are some of the works from the actual day with some of the photos taken in the hotel as our favorites. If you head over to  Hwee Studios  homepage, our video is in their main page. (a surprise for us to be featured as their main couple now)  The moments captured by Hwee Studios.  One of our favorite photos.  ** side note: Thanks to my bridesmaid who went to the flower store to help me buy fresh flowers to accessorie my hair. I would highly recommend fresh flower over fake flowers if possible as the fresh flower looks much much better :)
