Dormy Inn Gotemba: Simple, Comfortable and Great Value

After spending an entire day at Gotemba Premium Outlets, Dormy Inn Gotemba was the perfect place to crash for the night. The hotel's proximity to the outlets meant we could literally shop till we dropped without worrying about a long drive back.

the hotel is modern, fuss-free and packed with little perks that make the stay enjoyable.

Easy Parking for Self-Drive Travellers

One thing we immediately appreciated was the huge parking lot. Plenty of space, easy access and absolutely no stress finding a spot after returning from a shopping marathon.

For anyone doing a self-drive trip around the Fuji area, that's a big plus.

The Room

The biggest highlight of the room?

A king-size bed.

This was actually the first hotel during our trip where we got to enjoy a proper king-size bed, and after days of travelling and walking, it felt amazing to spread out and sleep comfortably.

The room was spacious, clean, functional and had everything we needed.

Freebies That Everyone Loves

Dormy Inn is famous for its complimentary perks, and this branch was no exception.

Guests can enjoy:

Free late-night ramen
Free ice cream after the onsen
Complimentary drinks

The free ramen is a nice touch if you're feeling peckish at night. Taste-wise, I'd say it was just average. Nice to have, but not something I'd rave about.

The free ice cream, however, was much more enjoyable and made a great post-onsen treat.

The Onsen

After walking around the outlets all day carrying shopping bags, soaking in the onsen felt like exactly what our tired legs needed.

Nothing particularly luxurious, but definitely a solid and relaxing experience.

Overall Thoughts

Dormy Inn Gotemba was one of the most practical stays of our trip.

Its location near Gotemba Premium Outlets, ample parking, comfortable king-size bed and generous complimentary snacks made it a great value stop for shoppers and self-drive travellers alike.

Panasonic steam oven NU-SC100WYPQ "Cutie" Product Review

I wanted to get weeks about it I purchased this item from Tangs at SGD $399. They are having a promotion of discount SGD $50 if you spend SGD $500. So i top up with a vacuum tumbler and pyrex glass dish. After several months of using, here are my comments on this cutie steam oven. This is purely a steam oven with no microwave function. One of the rare oven with no microwave function. I am ok with it as i steam fishes regularly and its a perfect addition of appliance. Kose Beauty Centre Facial Review (Isetan Scotts)

I was very very taken aback when i entered the unassuming beauty salon right in the heart of orchard. While the place is clean and design is simple, it was very sparsely furnished considering its brand name and in comparision with Yamano (the other japanese salon i went). I entered the facial premises after i passed through the hair salon. What greeted me makes my jaw dropped even more, the room is bare. There is no wall partitions for privacy, in its place are curtains hung to separate the different beds. And i am able to see all the facial therapist and guests.
