Probably because of its origin and to cater to japanese clientele, the brochures and contracts come in both English and Japanese.

The facial steps:

According to lady attending to me, the company believes in using natural ingredients to improve the condition of the skin. Hence, all the mask used are specially imported from overseas from as far as Europe.

There is no extraction for this facial and in its place vacuum of the T-zone is performed instead.

Faceplus encourages the clients to go facial bi-weekly. The packages some in two types. Type 1 is like a subscription and attendance is bi weekly. Type 2 is the standard spa package, you buy a certain number of treatments for a certain price.

For both types of packages, they have specific expiry dates and cancellation of facial is strictly not allowed on actual day.

The Review

While the condition of my skin did not improve significantly after the facial, but the entire session is very comfortable and calming. The therapist is very gentle and my face felt like it has been thoroughly pampered.

The room and setting is also satisfying. One minus is that there is no wash basin. So water has to be brought it by the therapist. The bed which i lie on also differs from the other chairs facial salon. Its firm and snug. But as my legs are not elevated, it got numb after a while.

Unbelievably, i signed up for the package. I guess its the feel of the place as well as the super soft treatment of the face that prompted me to give this place a 2nd chance.

I wanted to get weeks about it I purchased this item from Tangs at SGD $399. They are having a promotion of discount SGD $50 if you spend SGD $500. Kose Beauty Centre Facial Review (Isetan Scotts)

I was very very taken aback when i entered the unassuming beauty salon right in the heart of orchard. While the place is clean and design is simple, it was very sparsely furnished considering its brand name and in comparision with Yamano (the other japanese salon i went). I entered the facial premises after i passed through the hair salon. What greeted me makes my jaw dropped even more, the room is bare. There is no wall partitions for privacy, in its place are curtains hung to separate the different beds. And i am able to see all the facial therapist and guests. Each therapist handles 2 guests both at the same time!!! From My session suppose to start at 3 pm since my therapist is also handling another customer, i whipped out my phone and start playing candy crush till my therapist is available at 3.30pm. Banquet -Parkroyal beach road (Wedding dinner review)

I attended a wedding in October 2013 at the Parkroyal beach road. Boy! I was in for a surprise. The hotel is newly renovated and refurbished to a very corporate and clean polished look. There is a huge area for reception. Even the exterior area is also revamped (i didn't manage to get pictures for outdoors). You can hold your ROM outdoors and have decorated to an outdoor garden setting. Yes the outdoor area is that huge! This place has changed so dramatically.
